Oleg Sinelnikov: Boys & Girls U15 – U19 Competitive Director

Coach Oleg Sinelnikov has been working with the HSC Competitive Program since 2011 as the Goalkeeper’s Director and head coach for competitive DI teams. He holds a National “B” United States Soccer Federation Coaching License. Last season, he was awarded the Competitive Coach of the Year for 2015/2016 by the Alabama Soccer Association.

Oleg is the goalkeeper instructor for the Alabama Olympic Development Program, as well as an associate instructor for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). He is also a head coach for the Alabama Elite Program.

As a player, Oleg playedrofessionally as a goalkeeper for Revtrud and Spartan Tombov in Russia.

In addition to his playing and coaching career, Oleg is an associate professor at the University of Alabama and holds a PhD in kinesiology. His area of specialization is sport pedagogy.

Oleg is the husband of Jennifer and father of son Aleksey and daughter Sophia.

Lisa Harrell: Girls U9 – U14 Competitive Director

Coach Lisa has more than 18+ years of experience coaching soccer at both competitive & recreational levels throughout the southeast. She is owner and Head Coach of C.R.A.N.K. Agility Soccer Training, which specializes in private and group training and was awarded Alabama’s Enrichment Provider of the Year Award in 2016.

As a college player, Lisa played for NCAA Division I High Point University where she received a soccer scholarship and was the leader in assists for the Mid Atlantic Conference. She also played for the Jacksonville Cyclones, a semi-pro team in the USL A League.

As a professional, Lisa has also worked 15 successful years in new business development on a global scale for Fortune 500 companies.

Lisa resides in Hoover with her husband, Tom and their four kids.

Trey Knox: Boys U9 – U14 Competitive Director

Trey Knox has been coaching for over 15 years in the Birmingham and southeast region areas.

Trey will bring his previous director’s experience to our Boys U9 – U14 Competitive Program. For the last year, Trey has been the director of our Future Phantoms (U4 – U8) and Jr. Phantoms (U9 – U10 Competitive) programs.

Before arriving to HSC in the fall of 2016, Trey was the Boys Assistant Director of Coaching/Men’s Recruiting Coordinator for the Birmingham United Soccer Association (BUSA) from 2013 – 2016. While at BUSA, Trey led teams to numerous DI state cup titles.  He was also the Jr. Academy Director for Vestavia Hills Soccer Club (VHSC) from 2011 – 2013.

Trey holds a National Youth License and the National “C” United States Soccer Federation Coaching License.

As a college player, Trey played for Huntington College in Montgomery, AL as well as the University of Alabama at Huntsville (UAH) where he played in back-to-back Regional and National NCCA tournaments. He also played in the semi-pro Professional Development League (PDL) for the Birmingham Saints and Clarksville Gunners.

Trey is the father of Reeves Knox.
