The Spring registration deadline was February 7th, 2010. Late registrations for the Spring 2010 season are now being accepted but are subject to late fee and availability. Some programs may be closed, and players will be added to a wait list and placed on availability.
Now that Registration is closed…what happens next?
In the next 8-10 days teams in all age groups will be formed. Parents will be contacted and asked to volunteer to coach in their child’s age group. Once a coach is assigned to a team, he or she will be given all the information on the players. The Coach will then contact the parents with practice times. The Coaches will need parents to volunteer for snacks, to help with scheduling and uniform distribution.
Recreation practices will begin the week of February 22nd, 2010.
Academy practices will begin the week of March 1st, 2010.
Tykes and Intramural practices will begin the week of March 8th, 2010.
Hoover Soccer Club joined thousands of other organizations across the nation during the month of October to raise money and awareness during Breast Cancer Awareness Month with their 2nd Annual “Kick for the Cure” event.
Hoover Soccer Club’s competitive teams, along with parents and fans, sported pink t-shirts at home games during October as well as at the Wolf River Tournament in Memphis, TN on October 24.
The Phantom players played in memory of Lesley Roberta Sexton, mother of Justin Sexton (HSC Director of Coaching), who lost her battle with breast cancer earlier this year.
