The Hoover Soccer Club’s Academy program goal is to teach and develop players to have the confidence, and the technical ability to enjoy the game and be successful at which ever level they find themselves upon their graduation from the Academy program.     

Players receive training from both volunteer coaches and members of the club's coaching staff.     

Team Selection and Formation

The Under 10 Junior Academy teams are formed for boys and girls by the club through the online registration process, the player’s schools, the primary position listed by the players and by parent requests. 

Junior Academy teams play in the 6v6 format and can have a maximum roster size of 12, although a maximum of 10 is preferred where possible to allow all players adequate playing time.  The Junior Academy teams will play four internal games and four games as part of the Central Alabama Soccer League (CASL).
