Dean Sorrell

Dean joined Hoover Soccer Club in the Fall 2010 as an Academy Trainer and an Assistant Coach for the Phantoms 00 programs.

Dean is originally from Birmingham, AL where he played at Oak Mountain High School and played club for the American Jets '87. He was also a four-year member of the Alabama State ODP team.

Dean then attended the University of Alabama Birmingham, starting for 4 years and was a two-time captain. He graduated with a B.A. in Foreign Language and a B.S. in Biology.

Dean serves as the Head Junior Varsity Coach at Oak Mountain High School.

Dean holds his USSF National ‘D’ License.
