Mike Armstrong

Mike joined Hoover Soccer Club in the Spring 2006 as the Head Coach of the Phantoms 95 White. Mike has also served as the Head Coach for the Phantoms 98 White team for the 2008/2010 seasons taking the team to the Spring 2010 Division II Alabama State Cup Final.

Mike is originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland where he played for RBAI High School, Queen’s University, Belfast 1st XI and for the Carrick Rangers Soccer Club.

Mike began his coaching at the Bannockburn High School before moving to the US in 2002 to work as a MLS Team Camp Coach.

Mike holds his English Football Association Level 1 and 2 Badges and his UEFA B License
